I'm sensing today to take you on a short trip back in the Book of John & particularly Chapters 13-17 where Jesus begins to prepare His disciples for His departure from earth & back to the Father in heaven.  I will be drawing this information from a teaching I do on, The Holy Spirit & You.

In my last note I was telling you about our family having moved back to Broken Arrow, OK in 1996.  And that God had introduced me to the prayer ministry of P Lynne Hammond and how her teaching on the purpose of praying in tongues forever changed 'how' I approached the Lord in prayer.

In 1996 we had moved back to the Tulsa area after living in Myrtle Beach,SC for a short time helping some friends who were pastoring there. Upon arriving back I was introduced to the prayer ministry of Lynne Hammond. To be even more specific I had ordered a set of cassette tapes called, Praying Mysteries/Understanding the purpose of tongues.

I had been baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as Acts speaks of but I felt like I had reached a place in my prayer language that seemed repetitious. As if turning on or off a light switch and MY MIND not connected.

While driving in a rainstorm recently in a small town in Texas, I noticed some minor street flooding.  I innocently made a left turn and found myself suddenly in the middle of fast-moving flood waters.

My car was too small for this challenge, so as soon as I could I pulled into a gravel parking lot in front of an old frame house that was currently being used as an attorney's office.  I surveyed the scene and saw a road behind the house that was high and dry, but there was no access to it from where I was.

“And the threshing floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with juice (of the grape) and oil.” – Joel 2:24

The cutting away, the pruning, the fire has been great, but oh My Church the glorious transformation that I am bringing about in many of your lives. I am transforming those of you who are yielding to Me and drawing near to Me.

This is the time where I am transforming you My Church to be the mature sons and daughters of the King. Those who have truly seen My face, heard My heartbeat, have been hidden for some time, and are slowly starting to be released into the earth with messages that is going to transform people, groups, cities, nations and the world.
